The first paper about Spectro-Dynamic MRI has been published in IEEE Access. In this work, a novel framework is created to characterize dynamics directly from k-space data. Since no Fourier Transform is required in the reconstruction, a special sampling pattern could be used, such that the temporal resolution is only limited by the repetition time. A measurement model is used to relate the motion to the measurements in k-space. A dynamical model is added to introduce prior knowledge about the dynamics. The parameters of this second model can be estimated from the data as well. The method is validated with simulations and phantom experiments using simple pendulum setups.
