Background
Edwin Versteeg completed his bachelor in Applied physics and Masters (cum laude) in Biomedical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology (2012-2017). He obtained his PhD in 2023 (cum laude). During his PhD, Edwin worked on developing new sequences, reconstruction methods and hardware for a local gradient coil for fast high-resolution fMRI and silent imaging at the high field MRI group in the UMC Utrecht. Currently, he works as a postdoc in the Computational Imaging Group under the supervision of Alessandro Sbrizzi on the MR-STAT project with a focus on combining silent non-linear gradients with MR-STAT.
