Background
Oscar van der Heide completed his Bachelors and Masters in Taw Law at the University of Utrecht. Afterwards, he obtained his Bachelor in Theoretical Mathematics at the University of Utrecht and Masters in Applied Mathematics at the Technical University of Eindhoven]. Oscar is currently a PhD student in the Radiology department of the UMC Utrecht and the Computational Imaging Group, working on MR-STAT under the supervision of Nico van den Berg and Alessandro Sbrizzi. MR-STAT is a new method for fast, multi-parametric quantitative MR. Within this project, Oscar designs and implements new MR sequences as well as computationally challenging reconstruction algorithms.
