David Heesterbeek received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics (2018) and his master’s degrees in Applied Physics (2021) & Applied Mathematics (2021) from the Delft University of Technolgy. His thesis project focussed on Sequence optimisation for Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting, reducing the impact of undersampling errors in quantitative scans.
Since May 2022, David works as a PhD student on Spectro-Dynamic MRI in the radiotherapy department under the supervision of Alessandro Sbrizzi and Nico van den Berg. This project aims to identify dynamical systems with a high temporal resolution directly from the spectral domain.
