Background
Vladislav Koloskov received his bachelor’s degree (2022) and his master’s degree (2024) in Applied Physics from the ITMO University in St. Petersburg, Russia. Both thesis projects were devoted to the application of dielectric materials and artificial materials, such as metamaterials and metasurfaces, for the passive shimming of radiofrequency magnetic field and improvement of brain MRI.
Since April 2024, Vladislav works as a PhD student on the RF Sensing project within the Radiotherapy Department, under the supervision of Bart Steensma and Nico van den Berg. His primary focus is on designing and optimizing antenna configurations and setups to enhance the sensitivity of cardiac motion detection.
